spring break '05 was the shiznit. spent alot of time with my boo and with my boyfriend.

sunday i had to workkkk and then i went to popculture to watch phoenix rising with all my pals. i was sad because i missed jwilliams, but there will be plenty of other shows. i tagged ed and his friend jeff along, it was interesting, but good nonetheless. afterwards me ed jeff went to hooters and to kyle bateman's i think. i am a stranger to the things that went on in that household....

errr monday i went to chicago with ed. we missed the 11:30 train by 3 minutes!!!! 3 MINUTES!!!!! so we bummed around the train station for another HOUR... but it was fun because we played games. hehe. we went to the science and industry museum (which i love) and had a good ol time. then i rode in my first taxi!!!!!! and we went the rainforest cafe. mmm ! oddly enough i saw gina angotti and michelle paskash there. WEIRD........  monday night  me, kap, ed, bianca, colin, jflo, and jbell went to gypsies graveyard ---spoooooky--- or not ... hehe. it was still fun. we got some DQ and then scared sean as he was walking to his car after work in the mall parking lot. mwahaha mug alert. then me and ed i think we went back to kyle bateman's. fun..

tuesday... had to work. then my mom went all parental with the "you go out too much, lets stay home for one night" bit. blah! hopefully she wont pull that bullllllllcrap this summer. well it wasnt so bad, i mostly just slept and watched some OC season 1. i also went to my cousin's and got my prom dress. it is beeeeyooooteeeefulll! i heart it. because its perdy and poofy and free. yes!

wednesday, me kap and nicole steriovski drove up to gurnee mills for a fun filled day in the shopping capital of my life. it was grand. outlet stores + cold hard cash = lots of fun things for megan to bring home. the abundance of cheapness put an extra bounce in my step. yahoooooo!  on the way home we saw a guy laying on top of a large number of goods in a truck bed. it was really random and freaky, and i thought he was dead. we have pictures hehe.  that night i went to hooters with edwardo and it was tasty. we watched the incredibles later with alexis, his niece. twas pleasant. pleasant indeed! :)

thursday i went shopping with mi madre. i was supposed to get a new prom dress but i told her that i just wanted to use my cousin's for both christian prom and merrillville's prom. it saves her and me money and then i can get an extra fancy one senior year. yay!~ thursday night i went out with ed for our "one month" anniversary. yeah it pretty much sucked. we didnt have anything to do because we didnt have any money. we ended up hanging out @ joelobo's and then going to see guess who (for free...) with paulo and some other of ed's friends. it was okay.

hello all! i am back. not that i think anyone reads this.

life's been keeping me pretty busy. i've been ditching lots of choir and working lots extra. grades are good, friends are good, flores is good. life is good.

ed has introduced me to like a whole new style of highschool. its weird. i mean i never thought of myself as extra lame but i am extra lame indeed. its so weird. being a smart kid blows. but i guess this is just a phase since all this stuff is so new to me. you know?

things are okay with him. we fight alot but we balance that with having fun alot. its complicated. only my good pal lauren would understand. too bad i havent talked to her in ages and i'm going insano in my braino

welps, all my choir kids are off at branson. lucky dogs. i miss them and i wish i could be there right now. holly and joey are off in florida. lindz's in sanfran. joey's somewhere. BLAH! oh well, me and kate are having a good ol time around here. my spring break ain't so bad. not so bad at all.

ooh! all the boys came home for easter, minus james that punk. well it was great having all of us back together again like a little family. even jesse came and it was just grand. grand grand grand!

i saw robots (1 was named KAPPY!). fun times. ben is happier lately and that makes me happier. yay.

i miss lauren

tuesday i quit softball. during lunch. it was just something i had to do. it was horrible. one of the most difficult things i have EVER had to do in my life. imagine looking into the eyes of your coach... a man who's been your coach since you were 12... and tell him you quit and your done. awful.

in case your wondering, i quit for multiple reasons. one, i never played this season for myself. two, it always made me upset. three, i wasn't playing with my friends. four, i felt like my softball friends didnt really care if i was there or not. five, i made seb, which is a huge time commitment. six, mrs seaver announced they were doing a 2nd spring play, even though it was just a one act. an opportunity to do something i've always wanted to!!!!!! seven, its just not my thing. i shouldve realized that when i kept wishing i would break my arm so i'd be out all season.

normally i would feel bad about taken the spot of a player who tried out and were cut. but they said that they kept 1 more than they intended. so now they have the 26 they originally hoped for. and i'm 80% positive i was the player on the brink of keeping or cutting.

reasons not to quit.. one, my parents would be disappointed. two, my boyfriend was EXTRA disappointed. three, i always have soo much fun with t-o, vowell, baby z, frannypants, and a-train (partners fo life! :( ) and the rest of the team. four, omg the freshman are so cute and i think they looked up to me and i liked that. i really am going to miss all of them! and omg, hoover and taylor...... and vega and schmelly. just a great bunch of gals. five, they wanted me to pitch. talk about desperate.

so i guess the reasons to quit outweighed the reasons not to.

its been 4 days since i quit........ at first it was really tough and it made me cry alot and i couldnt really talk about it. but now i think i'm okay with it. its just something i had to do. i dont have any sour thoughts about the softball players/team/program/any of it. its just not for me. no hard feelings. go merrillville softball 05.

monday. 1/2 day. which helped me get over my sadness of state being over. that weekend just went by too too fast.

after school i went to nicole's. me and kd were there in like 30 seconds and hung out with good ol papa vowell til the stragglers arrived 2093812903 minutes later. hahaha. me nicole lindz and kd went to get some subway  mmm! then we went to wendys ( i'm so sick of fruit cups) and pizza bell ?   taco hut ?

we went back to nicole's and feasted. then we decided that we totally need to get tickets to the backstreet boys' show in chicago thats coming up. YES! LARGER THAN LIFE! we also danced around nicole's room like idiots. which i guess was just a replay of my gals' saturday night without me. haha. lindz's cd is the BOMB seriously

after that i went home. but my parents werent home, even though they made me come home? weird. well i went to my boo's. we watched brother bear with alexis. she also painted my nails which was cute. we're going to watch the princess stories next time. SCORE!

monday @ 6 i had choir dress rehearsal. took foreverrrrrrrrr but it was successful overall. i love the songs our choir sings. they give me CHILLS!

i finally made it to softball practice at like 8:15. yes, i got hit in my head again, whoo. i suck! ha. well that was my last softball practice ever and i knew it. it was hard to have fun but i tried to stay positive....

the past weekend (12-14) i had drama state down in MUNCIE! (talk about unfair, i'm in muncie for once and dominic is in MERRILLVILLE. what a hoebag.) well anywho, it was extra great and fun even though i missed jack and jesse terribly :'( i had no one to sleep on :'(

the drive down was looooong, but fun, because i love niki. our room was tizight, megan+niki+shakiya = um ghetto fabulous. and jessica myren, what a cool lil freshie. rhymes with siren.

anyway, that night it was cool, we watched some plays (like 3 of the 14 we watched all weekend) and we met new peeps. me and niki reunited with DALE <3<3<3 and it was grand. we also talked to skylar scott, who, sadly, was not as cool as i remembered. wait thats not right. he's cool but all he talks about is drama and drama and singing and singing. which is fun for a short prd of time. i had my first SEB meeting and it was way cool. SEB is the student executive board and its like, a team of 7 people chosen out of the state of indiana that helps plan alot of state events and conventions and what not. this meeting was like a "get acquainted" thing, no one was officially on SEB yet. we held the vote though, your top 5 favorite. i didn't vote for savannah (joey's love.) because i wasn't really feeling her ideas for next year. and i didn't vote for samantha because she was a sophomore and would have another chance to run for SEB the next year.  the SEB meeting caused me to miss the GREEK GAMES which sounded like oodles of fun, everyone had to wear togas. niki's was the best because it was my rainbow leopard blanket. HA! what a fox.

er. well. that night me shakiya and niki talked about our boyfriends like nonstop lil girls. we don't even know why. we were being such homos.   the girls on the trip from mville were kind of being mean to me and niki and our room in general and it was really unnecessary and inappropriate. but luckily me and niki kind of just go with the flow and dont let anything bother us. especially when its from some girls that dont even matter to us that much.

saturday was sooooooooo long. but soooo fun. we watched plays and ate FOOOOD and... me and niki went to the play marathon and an improv workshop. the play marathon substituted for an hour long nap, which was much needed. the improv class was cool, i met this guy Nick! who i had lots of fun with the rest of the weekend.  amanda degard got sick and had to go home. it was horrible i felt so bad for her!

we went back to the hotel to make ourselves look spiffy for the big dinner and show. this one boy, omg, (as me and niki look like crap in crap clothes)  "if you guys look like crap now, i wont even know what words to use to describe you when you are done getting ready" (uhh hello, yeah. we fall for pickuplines.)

the dinner was delish. especially that cake. the show ( godspell ) was even better. i really dont know what i'm going to do about my major crush on SKYLAR SCOTTS VOICE! heavenly. (which is expected, because he played "jesus")

then the dance! me and niki dressed like we were from the 50s with lil baggie shirts and ponytails and rolled up jeans. we looked fiiiiiiiiiiiine! haha. we talked to dale alot during the dance because, frankly, he rocks. and then of course we got our groove on.

OMGGGGGGG>............ jenni festa. dirtiest dancer i know. she might as well just taken her clothes off with every guy she was up on. they were practically doing it anyways.

and alas, jenni was voted dirtiest dancer of the night. which i think upset bianca a little.. too much. (and omg jenni had her first kiss!!! with a STUD!)

sunday. mville did their play. it was funny, i really love those lettuces. more plays. they started to all blur. nolan won best in category for musical solo. which is freakin awesome, much like his badass self. he performed "gethsemane" from jesus christ superstar and it was more amazing than any other time i'd ever heard it (even tho his music turned off :-\ ). nolan also won a scholarship worth 500 bones. congrats to my nolan!

i got picked for SEB! ROCK ON! its going to be so great and i'm so excited. its me, annie, wesly, chris, jon, samantha, and nell (which, in case you were wondering, is not short for janel.) whoo! i'm so excited.

ate at ryans. mmm. our waiter was way cool, and gave me lots of straws (dont ask). he was just a way cool dude. the ride home was sooooooooooo long. i just wanted to be HOME!

even though when we actually got home i went to ej's for a wittle while. it made me cheerful. i really think he missed me. which makes me feel good. its a nice feeling to have someone special
